Cheryl Woolhouse MAAT
Director and Senior Accountant
I qualified as an accountant in 2009. I have worked in accountancy practices and gained a large variety of experience dealing with clients in a range of business sectors.
I create an excellent working relationship with my clients and take care of the financials so that they can concentrate on what they do best- run their business.
I am a Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT). The AAT is one of the UK’s leading body’s offering a recognised accounting qualification. I am licensed and regulated by the AAT to provide practice Accounting, Tax and Advisory services. As a Member in Practice, I am required to hold adequate insurances and undertake regular CPD activities relevant to the services I offer.
I've been working in Financial Administration since 2012, mainly in Factoring and Invoice Finance, with a small time in Collections.
My entire career history has centred around customer service, problem solving and being the friendly voice on the end of the phone and I know that will continue throughout my time with HL&W.
No task is too big or too small and I'm ultimately here to help the team and our clients.
Working with HL&W takes the stress out of running your own company. A move from our old (problematic) accountancy firm was handled with care, diligent follow up and an assurance that our company's best interests were at heart - to the point that HL&W handled work that our old firm should already have done! Routine and complex tasks are handled quickly and with clear information or feedback provided where needed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend HL&W to anyone who is looking for a new accountancy firm - they go the extra mile every time, know exactly what they are doing and are extremely responsive.
